Three guesthouses on our farm
At the edge of the Kyllotsbos woods in Smilde, Drenthe. For two people, each with a private bathroom, terrace and entrance.
Peace, space and the woods around the corner
We are the third and fourth generation to live and work on this farm in Smilde. Next to the farmhouse stands the detached Stookhoes, and in 2024 we built two new guesthouses under the farmhouse roof.
All three have their own entrance, private bathroom, underfloor heating and terrace. The farm lies along a canal where you can fish, and the Kyllotsbos woods are within walking distance.

The guesthouses
All three sleep two. The Stookhoes stands on its own on the yard; the two other guesthouses are under the farmhouse roof.

Detached guesthouse on the yard, once the farm’s old boiler house. With two box-spring beds, a private bathroom, underfloor heating and a sunny terrace.
Gastenverblijf 1

One of the two guesthouses built in 2024 under the farmhouse roof, where the old cowshed used to be. With a private kitchen, bathroom and terrace.

The second guesthouse under the farmhouse roof, with a high room full of daylight from the roof windows and garden doors to the private terrace.
Straight from the yard into nature
Smilde lies between the large nature reserves of Drenthe and Friesland. Cycle, walk or ride from the farm into the woods and heathland.
